Job Title = Production / Materials Analyst
Status = Permanent Full Time with Benefits
Position Description = Expedites orders through the company to ensure 100% on-time deliveries of quality products to
Company’s customers.
  • Reviews the backlog, orders and shipments daily in order to properly schedule production for each area of the facility.
  • Facilitates meetings with Operations, Support Groups and Management with the objective of this reviewing any
    existing late orders and potential orders that are at risk for service level issues.  These meetings should drive toward
    root cause solutions of the issues as well as detailing the actions required to resolve them.
  • Maintains the proper flow of orders throughout the facility from order entry until shipment. This requires interaction
    with all areas of the organization in order to accomplish the Promise and Request Date Service Level of the customer.
  • Provides direction to manufacturing as to the priority of orders by staging production for each area in a means that
    enables the company to meet its delivery, labor and service level goals.
  • Acts as an interface between manufacturing and the other support areas to review and approve all of the delivery
    requests of the customer.  This includes control of the lead-time prospectus, scheduling needs and rush requests.
  • Coordinates and follows through with Purchasing on delivery requirements for materials and outside services.  Also
    coordinates as needed with Receiving/ Shipping and Sales for applicable order and customer needs regarding
  • Works with the Materials group to establish proper inventory levels at the Raw, WIP and Finished Goods levels in
    order to provide the best level of coverage for the product line.
  • Works as a back-up to the Production, Planning and Purchasing Supervisors as needed.
  • Performs other tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Title = Production Supervisor
Status = Permanent Full Time with Benefits
Position Description =
  • Supervise and schedule work hours for production employees.
  • Assigns tasks and/or machinery.
  • Ensures that employees’ training requirements are met and maintains associated records.
  • Reviews employees’ performance and coordinates wage progression with Human Resources.
  • Administers discipline as needed and maintains associated records.
  • Coordinates equipment maintenance with responsible individuals, i.e., IMTE, PM, etc.
  • Communicates any production issues or changes involving procedures, fixtures, drawings, specifications, etc. to
    Operations Manager.
  • Leads toolbox meetings with employees and daily communication meetings with other Production Supervisors and
    Production Coordinator.
  • Alerts management of resource needs.
  • Monitors status of orders for daily shipment.
  • Identifies the root cause of late orders and reoccurring quality issues and implements corrective action as needed.
  • Responsible for Request Date Service Level, backlog reduction, safety, scrap, rework, reject rate, and warranty related
  • Insures safety requirements are met for assigned area and personnel.
  • Performs other tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Title = Team Lead - Second Shift Site
Status = Permanent Full Time with Benefits
Education Required = High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.  2 year associates degree a plus.
Experience Required = Five years minimum manufacturing experience.
Position Description =
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead production line staff including assembly technicians and shift leads.
  • Direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution services for incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products.
  • Serve as technical expert on the manufacturing floor and acts as a resource during audits or company visits.
Key Job Elements
  • Manage and lead production line staff including assembly technicians and shift leads.  Prioritizes work based on
    schedule to meet Company goal of 95 percent On Time Delivery and 99.98 percent Quality (<200 ppm failure rate in
    the field).
  • Recognize and communicate employee performance and attendance issues to Production Manager.
  • Liaise with Client Solutions, Engineering, Shift Leads, Quality, and Buyers to insure all customer orders are completed
    and achievable in the allocated time.
  • Serve as technical expert on the manufacturing floor and acts as a resource during audits or company visits.  Provide
    technical support to Operations for all new and existing products.
  • Assist in the documentation of assembly procedures.  Identify (and order if requested) tooling and specialized
    equipment that is required to support product builds and/or improve quality and yield.
  • Work with management to ensure that work instructions are up-to-date and reflect standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct quarterly 5S evaluations of work cells/lines.
  • Design and develop product movement and storage systems.
  • Organize the kitting of orders for Domestic and International Orders.
  • Organizes cross-functional team to support and build prototype and early manufacturing orders.
  • Manages and organizes miscellaneous supplies.  Implements and manages items placed on Kanban for manufacturing.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering as well as Manufacturing Engineers with suggestions to improve products in terms of
    quality, yield, and cost to produce.
  • Adhere to company safety procedures and other guidelines.  Communicate all safety concerns, accidents and safety
    improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain equipment or property provided.  Keep work areas clean and orderly.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Ability to perform basic math including use of calculators.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data including blueprints and inspection specifications with minimal assistance.
    Ability to read and understand manufacturing documentation such as prints, bom’s, routing, and work instructions with
    minimal assistance.
  • Be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
