Position Title = Mechanical / Electrical Technician
Education Required =
  • Solder Certification
  • Certified Electrical Mechanical Technician,
  • Engineering study / manufacturing study, up to A.A. or B.A. Degree
Experience =
  • Built and tested complex E/M assemblies.
  • Experience in using drill presses and hand tools,
  • Understands watts and volts and basic wiring
  • Contribute "hands-on" in our manufacturing area
  • Knowledge of and experience in manufacturing process design and flow,
  • Assist engineers with prototype builds and first article design control.
  • Validated, assessed and trackside discrepancies and follow-up documents reports.
  • Communicated with groups outside of the immediate work area (i.e. engineering, manufacturing specs, materials) to
    obtain information necessary to execute tasks
  • Coordinated scheduling and priorities with other production leads and upper management and delegated assignments.
  • Responsible for QA and tool audits before final test and work with engineers interface on troubleshooting problems.
  • Documented and corrected process procedures for final assembly
  • Handled customer services and re-worked parts
  • Wrote, documented and maintained correct process procedures
  • Tracked all changes in manufacturing processes, and test procedures
  • Supervised and trained lower level technicians
  • Built and tested  complex E/M assemblies
  • Performed mechanical assembly, function tested and some visual inspection on PC board, test power supplies and
    local power box for each machine.
  • Provided technical support for manufacturing and troubleshooting PCBs down to the component level.
Qualifications =
Over 5 years of experience in a working environment as a Senior Electrical/Mechanical Technician, Electrical/Mechanical
Assembler or Test Technician with extensive Strong prioritization, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Sharp, innovative, goal-oriented quicker learner, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in food sorting machinery, complex systems per blueprints, schematics, drawings, etc…
  • Strong electronic principles and analytical skills in test, calibration and repair of systems, products and assemblies to
    the component level.
  • Management and leadership experience of other technical personnel.
  • Knowledgeable in MRP knowledge a plus
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.

Position Title = Industrial Electrician
Education Required = Two years related training from college or vocational school; and/or four to five years related
experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position Description = Maintains electrical performance for all plant equipment—including performing repairs, installations,
operational inspections and participating in developing improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Performs repair-oriented activities on a daily basis, based upon immediate needs and maintenance scheduling.
  • Must understand power transformation and distribution, circuit logic, HVAC systems and have a working knowledge of
    voltage-ohm meters (VOM), circuit testers, ladder logic (computer logic for electric circuits), and HMI’s (Human Machine
    Interfaces).
  • Performs mechanical repairs as needed.
  • Must be able to perform circuit testing, soft and hard wiring, and have a functional understanding of electrical
    components (relays, capacitors, etc.) and instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs all instrumentation, electrical equipment and auxiliary equipment in the calciner
    and steam plants.
  • Maintains plant and mobile equipment HVAC systems.
  • Performs maintenance checks on and associated repairs to all instrumentation and electrical equipment.
  • Calibrates process equipment and instrumentation to meet the requirements for reliable operation, high quality
    production, precise process control, and ISO compliance.
  • Operate mobile equipment as required to perform maintenance work.
  • Reports any problems or safety issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Participates in the continuous improvement of product and plant processes and performs other duties as required.
  • Computer literacy is essential to performing the duties of this job.
